Hello people.
We from www.zscentral would like to invite you all to come to Silverstone UK.

Citer
We can confirm that the 58th MG Car Club Silverstone International event will take place over the weekend of 13th – 15th of June 2008.
Silverstone Circuit
Northamptonshire NN12 8TN

You MUST come to Silverstone this year, where we will have at least 4,000 MGs and around 600 cars racing over the whole weekend. Camping right on site, hot food and bar open all day, live music Friday and Saturday, Barbeque on Saturday night, rally rides with Rally Matt in his ZRs and best of all, each type of MG parked up in groups. Have you ever seen 800 MGFs all parked in a bunch!!! I reckon the 60 at Donington was probably one of the biggest ZS meets so far but there must be thousands of them out there, so let's see how many we can get for Silverstone. You bring me a thousand ZSs and I will find a place to park them all together! How about getting hold of ZS owners in Europe? The Euro is so high against the pound that the UK is really cheap to come to right now. Silverstone is 13th - 15th June and tickets for the WHOLE WEEKEND cost £35 on the gate or £27.50 in advance for members.
Hope this helps you publicise the race programme Steve. If you talk to anyone who wants to do a bit of marshalling, have a go at a track day or even get into racing themselves, then the club can provide all the help and advice they need to get going. We're also looking for volunteers with ANY type of Z to make up a proper committee in the club to organise Z events, again with all the support and advice needed coming from the club. As you now know, it takes some effort to organise these things but it's a really good feeling when it all works out and you can say "I organised that!". What the club can provide is help and advice, insurance, the chance to be part of bigger events (like the race meetings or Silverstone) and all sorts of backup like printing and copying. Even advice on the law - did you know that if you organise a meet up for more than 12 cars at a particular time and all go to the same destination for a fixed meeting time there, then that is legally a rally and requires Police approval?!! We've been doing all this stuff for years so we know all the things to do to stay inside the law. As a club member, you can always call or email for free advice on any questions like this, that's what we're here for.
