He les gars ,regarder ce que je viens de lire d'un Hongrois:
Hi,
my FBH had a PCB fault which was repaired by FrenchMike. Thanks again Mike!
After that it was running but with a lot of smoke. It even shut down after about 10 minutes. I cleaned it up but did not help, still a lot of smoke and shut down after 10 minutes and even diesel dripping from the exhoust.
I was thinking and my conclusion was that most probably there is not enough oxygen to support proper burn, maybe the air fan is weak, I thought. I was also recommended that there is an option in webasto software for co2 setting which may help.
So I give another try to make it work, cleaned everything properly again and I noticed that when I tried to blow through the air intake pipe it had some resistance. I removed the foam from it which is probably for sound insulation, after that I was able to blow through without any resistance. The whole at the end of the foam was quite small, probably it was pushed in to the smaller part of the tube. I was not able to disassemble the fan part to check but I thought I had found the problem anyway.
After rebuild it was smoking strongly for about 5 minutes but started to clear and a few minutes later there was no smoke at all . I did not see any smoke since then. Even when going short distances there is no smoke at all, I can hear it works and most importantly I can feel it.
I write it down for you because I did not found this anywhere as a suggestion to FBH smoking and I think it can help.
Donc ,nettoyez ou virez la mouse dans l'entrée d'air..
Mike
